Mondays at 3:00 pm and Fridays at 10:00 am (except holidays)

Math, science, and engineering chat for San Bernardino Valley College students, faculty, and staff. Register to receive the zoom link that will work for the series. WRITING PERSONAL STATEMENTS AND COVER LETTERS

Friday, November 6 - 4:00-5:00 pm

Need help writing transfer admissions essays or cover letters? Join us and learn to use descriptive language in your personal statements and cover letters. In our Q&A we can discuss specific prompts for personal statement or admissions essay questions and answer your questions. Downloadable worksheets will be provided. Attendees will be paired with two essay readers (faculty or alumni) who are willing to read your essays and help suggest edits for your personal statement as you develop your application materials.
